Ten trucks loaded with 16,800 family food packs (FFPs) were dispatched on Wednesday (October 23) from the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Visayas Disaster Resource Center (VDRC) in Cebu to deliver the relief supplies to the agency’s Field Office in Legazpi City in Albay province.

The latest delivery is part of the DSWD’s ongoing efforts to strengthen relief operations in the Bicol region, ensuring that adequate resources are available for families affected by Severe Tropical Storm
#KristinePH.

The DSWD remains on high alert and continues to coordinate with other regional offices of the agency for the timely dispatch of aid.
