The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Information and Communication Technology Management Service (ICTMS) officially commenced its Capacity Building Roadmap Workshop on Tuesday (October 15) at the Madison Hotel in Quezon City attendee by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) personnel from the National Project Office (NPO) and other agency employees across field offices handling and managing agency’s digital projects.

Chief Information Officer (CIO) Assistant Secretary Julius Gorospe welcomed the participants and underscored the importance of tapping the full potential of the workforce towards consolidating sustainable practices, processes, and policies critical in the execution of the agency’s ICT projects and initiatives.

Anchored on DSWD’s digital transformation initiatives, the workshop aims to involve the attendees in drafting a unified, comprehensive roadmap for ICT projects across the agency’s field offices, as well as the creation of a formal management framework. Through the interactive sessions with resource speakers, the event also seeks to equip personnel with comprehensive tools and insights to enhance their skills relevant to their duties and responsibilities as ICT professionals.
