Social Welfare and Development Secretary Corazon Juliano-Soliman comforts the residents of Baganga in Davao Oriental during her visit to the town on Monday, December 10. Baganga is one of the worst hit municipalities in Davao Oriental. To date, a total of P5.3 million-worth of goods were released to the town.

For queries, clarifications, and updates on typhoon ‘Pablo’ Disaster Relief Operations, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has set up an Information Booth at the Operations Center at the DSWD Seminar Hall, Regional Office along R. Magsaysay Avenue corner Suazo Street here.

The Information Booth contains data as to the number of food packs and non-food items delivered in affected areas. It also has information and latest data on disaster relief and rehabilitation clusters such as shelter, food and non-food, camp coordination and camp management, livelihood, protection and communication.

Typhoon Pablo devastated 1,544 barangays, 34 cities, 226 municipalities, and 31 provinces in nine regions. ###
