The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)  expressed its deepest condolences to the family of the late Michelle Silvertino Beato, a Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiary, and a Social Amelioration Program cash recipient.

DSWD Field Office V Municipal Action Team (MAT) has reached out to Marlyn Silvertino, Michelle’s mother to deliver financial assistance amounting to P15,400.00.  Michelle’s mother has already taken custody of her four grandchildren, aged 11 to 4 years old.

In addition, the DSWD shall provide:

• Access to Livelihood through DSWD’s Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) for Michelle’s brother and sister, who serve as custodians for the four surviving children;
• Educational assistance for the three children who are in grade school; and

3)  Food assistance for ten days.

Since Michelle was a 4Ps beneficiary,  DSWD MAT shall process for the change in grantee.  DSWD will also assess the children and explore alternative child care, as necessary. ###

DSWD nakikiramay sa pamilya ni Michelle Silvertino, nagpaabot ng tulong

Ipinaaabot ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang taus puso nitong pakikiramay sa pamilya ng namayapang si Michelle Silvertino Beato ng Brgy Burabod, Calabanga, Camarines Sur, na pumanaw noong ika lima ng Hunyo taong 2020 sa panahon ng pandemya ng Covid19.

Si Michelle ay isang benepisyaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). Siya din ay isang Social Amelioration Program cash recipient.

Ang Municipal Action Team (MAT) ng DSWD-Field Office V ay nakipag-ugnayan kay Marlyn Silvertino, ina ni Michelle upang maghatid ng tulong pinansyal na nagkakahalaga ng P15,400.00.  Ang ina ni Michelle ay ang kasalukuyang nagbabantay at kumukupkop sa kaniyang apat na apo na edad labing isang taong gulang hanggang apat na taong gulang,

Karagdagan dito, ang DSWD ay magbibigay rin ng mga sumusunod:

1)     Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa ilalim ng  DSWD-Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), para sa kapatid na lalake at babae ni Michelle, na tumatayong mga magulang ng apat na naulilang mga bata;

2)   Tulong edukasyon, para sa tatlong anak na nasa elementarya; at

3)   Tulong na pagkain para sa sampung araw.

Dahil si Michelle ay isang benepisyaryo ng 4Ps,  ang MAT ng DSWD Field Office V ay siyang magpoproseso ng panibagong tatayong benepisyaryo ng programa para sa pamilyang naulila.

Magsasagawa din ng assessment ang Ahensiya kung ano ang makabubuti para sa interes ng mga bata at aalamin ang posibilidad para sa alternative child care, kung kinakailangan.
