Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary for Innovations Eduardo Punay expresses his gratitude to the United Nations – Food and Agriculture Organization (UN-FAO) for the expertise and resources that they shared for the completion of the Digital Mapping System (DMS) during a ceremonial turn-over event on Wednesday (December 20) in Pasig City.

The DMS  is an innovation under the DSWD’s Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Convergence Program that will strengthen the capacities of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and small-holder farmers by linking them to prospective markets such as the DSWD’s Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP).

Among those who signified their support to the DMS  are United Nations-Food and Agriculture Organization (UN-FAO) Food and Nutrition Security Specialist Maria Cecilia Pastores, FAO Management Information System (MIS) Specialist Holden Hao, Department of Agriculture (DA) Undersecretary for Special Concerns and for BARMM Engr. Zamzamin Ampatuan, and World Food Programme (WFP) Country Capacity Strengthening Coordinator Mr. Peter Loach.

Also present in the DMS event are DSWD Undersecretaries Monina Josefina Romualdez and Diana Rose Cajipe, Assistant Secretaries Rodolfo Santos, Baldr Bringas, and Florentino Loyola Jr., and a number of regional directors. #
