The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD Legislative Liaison and Coordination Group headed by Undersecretary Fatima Aliah Dimaporo on Wednesday (November 29) launched the first Legislative Agenda Forum at the DSWD National Press Center at the Central Office in Quezon City.

Resource persons who spoke in the forum include Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) Undersecretary Agapito Guanlao; National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Undersecretary Atty. Krystal Uy; and DSWD Strategic Communications Assistant Secretary Romel Lopez who shared their expertise on different topics related to the legislative processes and public speaking.

The forum aims to gather a pool of Department personnel from different offices who can contribute to updating and enhancing the DSWD Legislative Agenda for the further improvement of the social protection programs and services that the agency provides to the poor, vulnerable and marginalized sectors.
