More groups continue to provide assistance of various kinds not only to the affected families and evacuees but also to social workers who continue to serve even beyond the call of duty.

Secretary Dinky Soliman received yesterday from MVP Group of Companies 30 first aid kits for the use of social workers manning the evacuation centers in Zamboanga City. The kits were turned over by Executive Director Menchie Silvestre, Executive Director of Alagang Kapatid, the charity arm of TV 5 owned by MVP Group of Companies.

“The first aid kits will be helpful to the social workers who man the evacuation centers 24 hours a day,” Secretary Soliman said.

Secretary Soliman also thanked the MVP Group of Companies for their donation.
