DAVAO City – To share the spirit of Christmas with the families affected by Typhoon ‘Pablo’, several cabinet secretaries will join the distribution of ‘noche buena’ packs in Compostela and New Bataan, Compostela Valley province on December 22.

Each ‘noche buena’ pack contains 1.5 kilos bihon for pancit, 2 cans corned beef, 2 packs fudgee bar, 1 can fruit cocktail, 1 can condensed milk, 1 box cheese, sandwich spread, 1 pack of choco candies and 1 piece malong that will be used to package the goods.

A total of 173,000 of these noche buena packs will be distributed in all severely affected areas in the Davao Region. DSWD Regions XII and X helped in the packaging.

At present, a total of 452,798 family food packs amounting to P565,997,500.00 have already been distributed to the affected families.
