Villagers of Barangays Tinucan and Santa Inez in Tanay, Rizal wait for their turn to receive their family food packs (FFPs) from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Saturday (July 27).
The two barangays were isolated at the height of Typhoon Carina and the ‘Habagat’ when the roads going to these areas were rendered impassable making it difficult to deliver relief supplies.
On Friday (July 26),  the government airlifted an initial 500 FFPs and another 2,500 boxes on
Saturday (July 27), based on the instruction of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr to immediately assist the locals.#
